The horse I leased here went to a "new home" in September of last year. How long did Linus live at his last home? There's no way that Yukon could have suddenly moved to Mass...right?Brooke (FBX Adventures - In Parenting) https://www.blogger.com/profile/17040183680228006616noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5493249665531906779.post-10839298782268486582009-06-04T23:01:14.030-04:002009-06-04T23:01:14.030-04:00My goodness. And it's a perfect name!!

I cannot imagine the conditions that would permit a horse to get lice. I am fanatical about my guys--Rescue Ryan got hives last week and I used up the last two envelopes of Azium powder and even though they were old, they were stored in the fridge and did the job. He got one Friday and one Sunday and I replaced them with three more (now in the fridge). Vet said to keep an eye on him and call if there was no change.

I did not have to call.

Linus is a lucky duck--and you are doing a wonderful job! Keep it up (and I promise not to miss a day of blog reading. I miss so much!)TBDancerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03889066602819359591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5493249665531906779.post-20164524457692915192009-06-04T11:51:49.161-04:002009-06-04T11:51:49.161-04:00He has the same wide-eyed look that Faith had when...He has the same wide-eyed look that Faith had when she first arrived. Is that typical of any horse in a new barn, or is it just abuse cases? Here's to that look fading (along with his ribs!) in the near future.

Good luck with the lice... ew!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5493249665531906779.post-43642906162506896602009-06-04T08:52:42.591-04:002009-06-04T08:52:42.591-04:00Linus sure looks eager with those big browns of hi...Linus sure looks eager with those big browns of his to get on with his new life. What a doll! He's gonna be one good looking dude in no time. Hopefully his member cooperates and surgery is not necessary.
