Do you have homes for all the piglets?Tammyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14639671567736413412noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5493249665531906779.post-69591965247525867592009-08-05T12:37:51.802-04:002009-08-05T12:37:51.802-04:00I am learning so much on your blog! I was told to tell visitors to avoid the mamas with babies and never pick up the piglets - the mama pigs were very protective. Apparently a mama once jumped a (fairly high) fence to to a squealing piglet and gave a visitor a big scare. (But that's why you listen to the guide when s/he tells you which animals you are allowed to pet!)Janehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08417356206569429078noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5493249665531906779.post-59339043581589688112009-08-05T11:50:55.524-04:002009-08-05T11:50:55.524-04:00Sows often lay on their piglets (by accident) and ...Sows often lay on their piglets (by accident) and they are killed. My dad put a railing around the bottom of the pen so that the piglets could scoot under it should the sow lay down near a wall and they had no escape. Other than that, I don't remember much about pigs.....my Dad and brothers took care of them.Drillriderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07237598511944008927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5493249665531906779.post-37395469381232308502009-08-05T11:21:23.009-04:002009-08-05T11:21:23.009-04:00She is such a pretty color!!!
